Ocean Ride is a surf school located right on the waves, just a few steps away from Lacanau-Océan’s best surf spots. The view of the waves from the school and the sea air provide an idyllic setting for an unforgettable day or weekend of surfing. The school is open every day from late March to early November. Shops and restaurants are just a few minutes’ walk from the school, so you can recharge your batteries after surfing lessons. A surf school for every level
Lacanau’s waves are ideal for learning to surf in complete safety. Waves break on sandbanks, so you can start surfing in the moss and stay in a zone where you have a foothold. More experienced surfers can use the bay currents to access the open sea and ride green waves. Our surfing lessons are organized by level and age, with teaching methods tailored to each individual’s needs and expectations. Surf lessons are supervised by a team of experienced, passionate and attentive instructors. They’re at your side on the beach, but also in the water to help and encourage you. For optimum safety, all surf lessons are organized according to the tide and the level of students. All our instructors are first-aiders and have a perfect knowledge of the marine environment.
