OCEAN RIDE is a Surf and Bodyboard school certified by the French Federation of Surfing opened every day from April to November in Lacanau-Ocean. The school founders are Thibault and Damien, two local surfers sharing their passion and knowledge.

A school right in front of the waves, a few steps away from the best surf spots of Lacanau. Band new premises with changing room, showers and restroom (If access permitted by France Health Department).

An experienced and qualified team (state-certified) to transmit their passion. Our instructors are very attentive and get involved by your side on the beach and also in the water to help you and to encourage you.

Classes are organised by ages and skills. We adapt our pedagogy to your expectations with individual advice..

For an optimal safety all the surf lesson are organised depending of the tide and student’s levels. All of our instructors are rescuers and have a perfect knowledge of the ocean and its environment.

A wide range of quality equipment renewed each year. More than 250 boards (from softboard to fiberglass shortboard), we will find together the board that fits you.
